For an open-plan attic apartment, we designed and built a kitchen in collaboration with a carpenter and a metalworker. The layout of the kitchen is unconventional. A kitchen island, positioned in front of a wall block, is awkward to navigate around. However, it forms the heart of the apartment and serves as a central gathering point at any party.
